WPRC Chairman, Paul L. Plants W3PLP, SK

It is with great sadness we report the passing of Paul Plants W3PLP, 66, of Washington, PA on Saturday, August 4, while recovering from major surgery. Paul was an Extra Class licensee, and was currently Chairman of the Western Pennsylvania Repeater Council. Several years ago, Paul was a candidate for WPA Section Manager. He was an active member and past President of Washington Amateur Communications (WACOM), a member of Breezeshooters and a frequent patron and supporter of Western Pennsylvania hamfests.

Professionally, Paul was a retired municipal Police Officer, and more recently was employed in the automotive parts industry.

He is survived by his wife Patty N3XAR.

Funeral Arrangements:
Viewing Wednesday 6 – 8 PM with service to follow at
Hummel & Jones Funeral Home
